ALLIANCE- A 62-year-old city man faces 20 counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor, accused of having thousands of images of child pornography.
Victor H. Johns was arrested Wednesday at his residence at 104 W. Oxford St. Police say he was using a computer to download and distribute pornographic images of minors.
Police called upon the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force to help gather evidence.
“They gave us a sample of what is on the computer,” Lt. John Jenkins said. “We believe there are thousands of videos and images of child pornography. I would say preteen, the images we have seen. In addition there were printed out images of child pornography.”
