YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — A Texan who flew to Ohio to have sex with someone he believed to be a teenage girl was sentenced Tuesday to more than 15 years in federal prison.

Agents of the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force met Samuel Condo, 33, at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport on Oct. 24. He thought he had convinced a mother and her 13-year-old daughter to have sex with him, and he had Victoria's Secret underwear he bought for both in his carry-on bag.

He pleaded guilty in April to five federal charges, including enticement, traveling to engage in illicit sexual conduct and sending and receiving child pornography. U.S. District Judge Benita Pearson handed down her sentence in her courtroom in Youngstown.

Condo is a Navy veteran who worked as a cellphone sales representative, according to court filings and past reports.

Prosecutors said he chatted online with an undercover investigator posing as the mother and said he found incest appealing. He sent child pornography to the investigator as well as sexually explicit photos of himself.
