CLEVELAND, Ohio -- A Texas man, who prosecutors say flew to into
Hopkins Airport last week in hopes of having sex with a Cleveland mother
and her 13-year-old daughter, faces multiple child pornography related
charges.
The Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Samuel
Condo, 32, at the airport on Oct. 24, where they found he had underwear
purchased for the made-up child and parent in his carry-on bag,
according to prosecutors.
Condo, who works as a cell phone sales representative, sent child
pornography to investigators posing as the mother of a 13-year-old and
after his arrest Arlington, Texas police searched his apartment and
seized additional evidence, prosecutors said.
Condo is being held in the Cuyahoga County Jail on a $500,000 bond that would include electronic monitoring if he is released.
It's unclear if Condo has retained a lawyer yet.
The case is yet to be presented to a grand jury but Condo is charged
with crimes including, importuning, pandering sexually oriented material
involving a minor, illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material
and attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
